SMART INSTRUMENT® SERIES - 2000™, 2001™ & 2002™ Integrated warning systems for Datcon brand instruments GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Integrated warning lights, switch outputs & engine shut-down features for Datcon brand Automotive, Heavy Duty Industrial & IllumaSeal® instruments
- Ideal for protecting valuable O.E.M. equipment especially in cases where operators might not otherwise be aware of potential problems
- Functions monitored include oil pressure, water temperature, volts & fuel level
- Systems allow customers to eliminate costly sender/switch combinations, detection modules, extra wiring & connectors for an “all-in-one” solution
- Sensing electronics—sender, switches and LED warning lights—are incorporated inside gauge
- Detection circuitry is matched to the instrument for improved accuracy, thus eliminating the gauge as a potential source of system variation (as caused by so-called tolerance “stack-ups”)
- Three versions allow for natural “option-up” strategy depending on function required and budget considerations
